Ambar's 10+ year career as a government media director, political events consultant and event coordinator has taken her all over the country. Born in Manta, she was the first in her family to study abroad in the USA, where she improved her English speaking skills and discovered a new passion for tourism and real estate.

For the past 5 years, Ambar has honed her communications and public relations expertise when effortlessly managing many accounts and projects for JAG Ecuador, the Manta-based international marketing agency she and her husband Joe run, and Rent in Manta, their luxury property management company that services both the Expat and Ecuadorian communities. She also played an integral role in the creation of their online restaurant directory, eatinmanta.com, which welcomes tens of thousands of users each year

Born and raised in New York, Joe is an entrepreneur, artist and marketing expert. He comes from a family of successful entrepreneurs in real estate, restaurants and the entertainment industry. He has spent his entire adult life as an Internet marketing and web development consultant.

After helping launch 100s of online startups in NY between 1998 and 2018, he embarked on his journey to Latin America, a dream since childhood.

Before moving to Manta, he completed his first real estate flip in Staten Island, NY which resulted in the property selling for more than double what it originally appraised for and almost 10 times its original purchase price.

Joe is the creator of JAG Ecuador, his and his wife Ambar's Manta-based international marketing agency. He is the creator of Rent in Manta, the city’s largest luxury property management company.

He is also the creator of Manta's first and only online restaurant directory, eatinmanta.com, which welcomes more than 20,000 unique and returning visitors each year, and finally, he is co-founder and marketing director of Own in Ecuador.

Ray was born in Chicago Illinois and like his wife Wanda who grew up in Canada, grew tired of the cold winters and decided to move to a warmer climate and found himself moving to Fort Myers Florida in 2004.

Here he would meet Wanda and in 2006 obtained his Florida real estate license. Together they would build a thriving real estate business in sales and seasonal rentals. In early 2021 Ray and Wanda decided to invest in a new condo project in Manta, Ecuador called Riva di Mare.

The more they learned about the city of Manta and what the city had to offer the more they started thinking they might want to move there to live. On October 26, 2021, Ray and Wanda arrived in Manta Ecuador to begin a new chapter in their lives.

Ray had a successful career in Wholesale Electrical Supply sales and also was a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate in Illinois for three years before moving to Florida. Wanda has an extensive background in retail sales and customer service owning a clothing business, so she was a perfect fit for their real estate business.
